How do you know if you have a sexually transmitted infection (STI)?

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are very common. STIs are passed from one person to another through sexual activity.

  • Get tested! It's the only way to know for sure. Most STIs do not cause any symptoms, so you might not notice that something is going on.

  • And if you do have symptoms, it is important to get tested so you can get any necessary treatment. If a STI is left untreated it can cause very serious complications.

STIs are preventable. If you have sex, you can protect yourself and your sexual partner from STIs. Get free safer sex supplies, like condoms and lube. Order them here!
