The plastic surgery team at CHA is dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best. We perform surgeries on injuries, scars, burns and other conditions that affect appearance for adults and children age 6 and up. We also do a range of cosmetic surgeries for face and body.

We’re proud to have Dr. Daniel Derek Reformat as our head of Plastic Surgery at CHA. Dr. Reformat is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine. He completed his training in General Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident, and his Plastic Surgery training within the NYU School of Medicine system. He brings broad experience to CHA, including aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, microsurgery and hand surgery.
Coordinated care with the Cambridge Breast Center
The plastic surgery team at CHA works together with the Cambridge Breast Center to provide reconstructive surgery for breast cancer patients. For many women, losing part or all of a breast or breasts is a difficult part of breast cancer. Our compassionate team can help. We use a variety of methods for reconstructing and reshaping breasts. These procedures can be done either at the time of mastectomy or later, depending on the patient's needs
