Workforce Diversity

A Message from Joy Curtis, SVP of Human Resources

Thank you for your interest in joining Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). In your first days working here, you will find that Cambridge Health Alliance is far from a “cookie-cutter” workplace – the array of people, job opportunities and services that make up our health care system are incredibly comprehensive and varied. Our mission to improve the health of our communities requires that we have a strong and flexible workforce, ready to meet the demands of a complex patient population who hail from many different cultures and walks of life.

We know that the best way to serve our patients is to hire a set of highly-skilled people who are not only leaders in their line of work but are also leaders in promoting compassionate, person-centered care. We are looking for people who celebrate diversity and who can contribute to making our environment welcoming and supportive. Hiring diverse employees who bring different perspectives to our work is a part of that process, and empowering them to advocate for greater accessibility once they have come aboard is another. We're proud of the many employee-lead task forces we have in place that provide ongoing support and advocacy for our employees and patients.

I hope that you will consider Cambridge Health Alliance in your career search and I look forward to welcoming new talent into our community of caring.

Non-Discrimination and Antiharassment Policy

The CHA Non-discrimination and Antiharassment Policy provides CHA’s employees with a safe working environment that is free of harassment of any type and discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, qualified mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, any veteran status, any military service, any application for any military service, or any other category or class protected by federal, state or local laws. Read the CHA Non-discrimination and Antiharassment Policy.

LGBTQ Affinity Group

CHA is proud to facilitate an LGBTQ employee affinity group. The group serves as a way for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender or Queer-identified employees to come together to network, share experiences and create a community of support. The group also supports CHA to build capacity to better serve our LGBTQ employees, patients and community and increase awareness of the health issues that impact our LGBTQ populations.
