MOOD DISORDERS RESEARCH PROGRAM

The Mood Disorders Research Program, led by Robert Dunn, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, is currently engaged in several studies on Depression and Bipolar Disorder.

Depression Studies:

Currently seeking participants for a research study involving natural supplements in the treatment of depression disorders. These supplements include L-methionine (an amino acid), Betaine and Folic Acid (both food in a daily diet).

Participants must be between 18-64, in good medical health, and not currently taking antidepressants.


Bipolar Studies:

Currently seeking participants for a research study involving medication in the treatment of bipolar depression. These studies include medications for depression, mania, and cognitive dysfunctions. Current medications being investigated include Depakote, Abilify, Licarbazepine and Galantamine.

Participants must be between 18-64, and in good medical health.
