PHYSICAL
MEDICINE (PHYSIATRY)
We
offer expert physical medicine (physiatry) services through the
Orthopaedics Department.
This
service provides diagnosis and treatment of patients with non-surgical
musculoskeletal issues such as shoulder, knee, hip, neck and back
pain.
Other
referred conditions include the management of limb spasticity (when
certain muscles are continuously tight) related to neurologic conditions
such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and cerebral palsy.
