Cambridge Health Alliance Family Medicine Physicians Honored for Excellence in Teaching
Malden, MA... Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) announced today that six physicians at the CHA Malden Family Medicine Center were recently recognized for excellence in teaching by third-year students at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Mary Engel, MD, Felicia Freilich, MD, Elizabeth Hutton, MD, Claudia Legere, MD, Lenard Lesser, MD, and Sarah Scott, MD, MPH, were honored for their exceptional teaching qualities, dedication, and positive attitude toward students. All six physicians are completing training at the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency program at Cambridge Health Alliance, housed at the CHA Malden Family Medicine Center.
The CHA Malden Family Medicine Center is a state-of-the-art primary care facility that opened in June 2007 at 195 Canal St. in Malden. More than 30 family medicine doctors work on site and provide a wide range of health services for patients of all ages. The Tufts University Family Medicine Residency is a nationally recognized program that trains new family medicine physicians. In January 2007, it was one of 14 out of over 400 Family Medicine training programs nationwide selected for the introduction and development of an initiative called P4 (Preparing the Personal Physician for Practice), an innovative approach to training new physicians.
