NAMI Cambridge-Middlesex’s March Meeting to Focus on Teen Safety in Schools With Cambridge Health Alliance Expert Nancy Rappaport, MD”


On Tuesday, March 4, 2008, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Cambridge-Middlesex chapter will hold its monthly meeting. Dr. Nancy Rappaport, Director of School Programs at Cambridge Health Alliance and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, will give a presentation titled “Prescription for Safety – Helping Teens and Schools.” Dr. Rappaport, an expert on school violence and school-based health centers, will discuss the stresses on adolescents within the school context, and the interventions that can support students. The meeting will take place at the Cambridge Hospital campus of Cambridge Health Alliance at 7 p.m., and it is free and open to the public.
