Neurologist Bharani Padmanabhan, MD, PhD, Joins Cambridge Health Alliance
Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, MA...Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) announced today the appointment of neurologist Bharani Padmanabhan, MD, PhD.
As the in-house neurologist at CHA’s Whidden Hospital campus, Dr. Bharani will see both inpatients and outpatients suffering from a variety of neurological complaints. He also holds an appointment as an instructor in neurology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Bharani comes to CHA with an extensive background in the treatment and study of multiple sclerosis (MS). He previously served at the Angels MS Service in southern Massachusetts, where he was director for three years and provided care for more than 700 MS patients. He will continue his dedication to MS care and research during his tenure at CHA.
Dr. Bharani graduated summa cum laude from Budapest’s Semmelweis University, where he remained to earn his medical degree. He then completed residency training at Tufts Neurology followed by two fellowships in MS at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and UMass Memorial Medical Center.
