18th Annual Fraiman Lecture on Medical Ethics:
Robert Jay Lifton, MD, on “Doctors and Torture”
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) will host the 18th Annual Fraiman Lecture on Medical Ethics. The event features Robert Jay Lifton, MD, CHA psychiatrist, a lecturer on psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and a leading scholar of the psychological dimensions of wartime violence, in a presentation titled “Doctors and Torture.” Dr. Lifton has conducted major research on Nazi doctors as well as torture in Iraq and will discuss the ethics of being a doctor involved in torture.
