CAMBRIDGE HEALTH ALLIANCE PSYCHIATRIST WINS HARVARD TEACHING PRIZE

Cambridge, MA…Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) psychiatrist Alfred Margulies, MD, was recently honored at the Harvard Medical School (HMS) Faculty Awards ceremony, where he received the 2006 Cynthia N. Kettyle Teaching Award. Dr. Margulies is the Associate Chairman of Psychiatry at CHA and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at HMS. Dr. Margulies was unanimously selected by the HMS Psychiatry Executive Committee and Medical Education Council to receive this honor.

The Cynthia N. Kettyle Teaching Award was established in 2004 and recognizes a HMS faculty member who has demonstrated a truly exceptional and enduring commitment to teaching, mentorship, and leadership in psychiatric education.
