CAMBRIDGE
HEALTH ALLIANCE RECEIVES GRANT TO HELP FIGHT BREAST CANCER
Cambridge,
MA… Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is the proud recipient of a
$250,000 grant from the Avon Foundation which was given to CHA at
the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer held recently in Boston. This grant
will be used for support services for CHA’s ongoing Breast Cancer
screening and treatment initiatives, including the Cambridge
Breast Center, new equipment and materials, a patient tracking
system, and transportation assistance for disadvantaged women.
The
Avon Foundation was founded in 1955 to improve the lives of women
and their families. The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade was launched
in 1992 and has supported breast cancer programs in some 50 countries.
