THE CENTER FOR PUBLIC HEALTHCARE TRAINING
In 2008, CHA was one of only 6 medicine programs nationally awarded an AAMC/CDC grant to establish a Center for Public Healthcare Training, as a collaboration between our Internal Medicine residency program and the Cambridge Public Health Department.

The goal of the grant is to integrate population health, public health, and prevention into their graduate medical education curricula.

All Primary Care and Transitional Year PGY-1 residents participate in this experience during their Ambulatory Block Rotation. Click here for a description of the current project, aimed at reducing the spread of hepatitis B in our communities.
