COPE - COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR ELDERS
Providing expert mental health care for homebound seniors, 65
years and older in Everett, Malden, Medford, and Revere.
As people age, they often face new social, physical, and emotional
challenges. This may result in depression, changes in behavior or
attitudes, substance abuse, memory loss, or confusion regarding
daily tasks. While many are supported by friends and family, there
are times when seniors can benefit from expert mental health care.
We provide important mental health services through an expert care
team and we coordinate with the client's primary care provider as
needed. We also collaborate with Tri-City Mental Health, the Boston
Emergency Services Team, and Mystic Valley Elder Services to provide
comprehensive care include case management.
An Advisory Committee consisting of agency and community representatives
helps us integrate our services with other support services for
seniors.
