PLANNING/ EVALUATION
Planning and Evaluation is the analytical arm of Community Affairs,
tracking community health improvement and determining whether Community
Affairs' programs are meeting the needs of the people we serve.
The Planning and Evaluation team, which includes both evaluation
and analytical staff, uses a participatory and utilization-focused
approach to our work. Our activities include:
- Creating ways to monitor and evaluate our work
- Supporting program development and planning efforts
- Building databases to help us track our efforts and evaluate
our programs
- Conducting research to help us create better programs
- Providing evaluation and research results to internal and external
audiences to help us make better decisions
- Supporting grant writing efforts
- Providing technical assistance around quality indicator development
and monitoring
The Planning and Evaluation team is also involved in the Zero
Disparities Committee, a group that works towards reducing disparities
in service utilization and health outcomes among the populations
served by the Cambridge Health Alliance.
